The P Logo - Pride, Pearametric, Prism

P - Pride

The Pearadox P was created to represent Pride which one of the most recognized words associated with the queer community and a visible expression of identity, presence, and belonging. Pride is not just celebration, but acceptance of oneself; whether publicly or in private.

P  - Pearametric [A single-line parametric trajectory is a mathematical and design term for a path drawn using one continuous, unbroken line whose coordinates change dynamically over time based on a hidden variable.]

The Pearadox P logo is formed from a single continuous line. One motion creating one form, bending, curving and remaining open. This is to reflect the understanding that expression and identity are fluid. No path unfolds as a straight line. Human experience shifts, expands, changes direction, and reveals itself through movement rather than confinement. Like our community in general, this line isn’t straight.

P - Prism

A prism does not create light; it reveals what was already present within it. As light passes through a prism, hidden colors become visible. The colors flowing through the Pearadox symbol draw inspiration from the modern Pride flag, including rainbow, transgender, black, and brown colors. All tones exist as dimensions carrying history, identity, and experiences that have always existed within the visible and non-visual spectrums.

Like light through a prism, the spectrum emerges through Pride, through variation, and through paths that were never meant to move in only one direction.

One line. One light. One love.
